Different Types of Pest Control
There are several different types of pest control. They include biological, chemical, and in some cases, predatory insects. Biological pest control is a method wherein an organism is introduced into an area in order to reduce its population. Insect pathogens are also used as a form of control. Chemical pest control, on the other hand, involves applying a substance to an area to kill or inhibit the growth of the organism. Pesticides should be applied only when appropriate and only to the target organism. They should be applied in a manner to minimize risks to human health, nontarget organisms, and the environment.
